CarrotBoost began the way most coaching in League of Legends actually starts: one experienced player helping a friend who kept losing lane and couldn't work out why. That single favor turned into a handful of sessions, then a waiting list, and eventually into the coaching platform running today.
What we do hasn't changed much since then. A player who has genuinely reached a high rank sits down with someone who wants to reach one, looks at what they're actually doing wrong, and says so plainly. The scheduling, the accounts, the payment system, all of it exists to support that one exchange rather than to replace it.
2. How Coaching Works Here
Coaching only holds up if it bends around the player instead of a fixed curriculum. Our live one on one sessions put a coach in voice chat while you play, calling out decisions the moment they happen instead of after the game is already lost. Replay and VOD review does the opposite: it slows a finished game down and pauses on the exact point where things went wrong, so nothing gets glossed over.
Sessions are booked by the hour, so a player decides how much time they actually need rather than being pushed into a longer package they didn't ask for. For anyone whose account needs to move toward a specific goal while their schedule doesn't allow for consistent sessions, we also offer an account improvement option carried out by a verified, high rank player. It sits alongside our coaching programs as a convenience, never as a substitute for the actual work of getting better.
3. Coaching Standards
Every coach applying to CarrotBoost has to hold a verified Master, Grandmaster, or Challenger rank before the application is even reviewed. Rank on its own isn't enough. Each applicant is also tested on how clearly they can walk someone else through a decision, because a player who can climb to Challenger and a player who can teach someone else to climb are not always the same person.
Coaches who pass both checks are listed with their rank, main role, and region shown openly, so a player can pick someone whose actual experience matches what they're trying to fix rather than picking a name at random.

We hold ourselves to a short list of commitments that stay the same regardless of how any single session goes.
